There are a few things I loved about this day. Emilie reached out to me, indicating that her and her fiancé wanted to elope at the historic courthouse in Lapeer, Michigan. Of course, I was ecstatic. I grew up near Lapeer and still live nearby. This courthouse is such a gorgeous building and perfect for that old courthouse wedding feeling.


These two were SO in love and so lovely to work with. I even was able to sign their marriage license as a witness. It was a day I will not soon forget. Thank you.
